Quick Navigation

Weapons

5 primary weapons, each with a unique moveset and upgrade path

Note: Three weapons are available from the start. The remaining two are unlockable through exploration. Each weapon can be upgraded at the Weapon Shop in Ossex.
💥

Nightstar

Starting Weapon Upgrade: Dread Mace

The Nightstar is a chain mace/flail that serves as one of Mina's starting weapons. Its chain-based design provides extended reach compared to melee weapons, allowing Mina to strike enemies from a safer distance. The flail head swings in an arc, making it effective for hitting multiple enemies in a wide sweep.

The range advantage makes the Nightstar an excellent choice for players who prefer to keep their distance while maintaining aggressive offense. Its sweeping arc also helps when surrounded by enemies.

Whisper and Vesper

Starting Weapon Upgrade: Throwing Dagger

Whisper and Vesper are a pair of dual daggers available from the start. These fast-striking weapons prioritize speed over raw damage, allowing Mina to deliver rapid consecutive hits. The dual-wielding nature means attacks alternate between the two daggers, creating a flurry of strikes.

The high attack speed synergizes well with the Plasma health system, as more hits mean faster health regeneration. The daggers are ideal for aggressive players who want to maximize their time on the offensive.

Blaststrike Maul

Starting Weapon Upgrade: Explosive Charge

The Blaststrike Maul is a heavy hammer available from the start. It trades speed for raw power, dealing significant damage per hit. The hammer's charged attack is particularly notable, as it grants invincibility frames during the charge-up and swing animation.

The invincibility frames on the charged attack make the Maul a defensive tool as well as an offensive one. Time your charges to tank through enemy attacks while delivering devastating blows.

Hollower's Shield

Unlockable Upgrade: Shield Toss

The Hollower's Shield is an unlockable weapon that provides defensive capabilities alongside offensive options. As a shield, it can be used to parry incoming attacks, creating openings for counter-attacks. The parry mechanic rewards precise timing with a devastating riposte.

The Shield's upgrade, Shield Toss, adds a ranged attack option, transforming the defensive tool into a versatile offensive weapon as well.

The Battery Buster is an unlockable blaster weapon that provides ranged combat capabilities. Unlike the other melee-focused weapons, the Battery Buster allows Mina to engage enemies from a distance, adding a new dimension to combat strategy.

Sidearms

Sub-weapons that consume Joules and are lost on death

Important: Sidearms consume Joules to use. They are lost upon death, so use them wisely. Sidearms are found by breaking objects throughout the world -- smash everything you see to discover them.

Gyro Dagger Confirmed

Boomerang Dagger

When thrown, the Gyro Dagger arcs outward and then curves back to Mina like a boomerang, striking enemies multiple times as it spins. A neat trick: you can hit the returning dagger to send it flying toward enemies again, effectively juggling it for extra damage.
