Weapons
5 primary weapons, each with a unique moveset and upgrade path
Nightstar
The Nightstar is a chain mace/flail that serves as one of Mina's starting weapons. Its chain-based design provides extended reach compared to melee weapons, allowing Mina to strike enemies from a safer distance. The flail head swings in an arc, making it effective for hitting multiple enemies in a wide sweep.
The range advantage makes the Nightstar an excellent choice for players who prefer to keep their distance while maintaining aggressive offense. Its sweeping arc also helps when surrounded by enemies.
Whisper and Vesper
Whisper and Vesper are a pair of dual daggers available from the start. These fast-striking weapons prioritize speed over raw damage, allowing Mina to deliver rapid consecutive hits. The dual-wielding nature means attacks alternate between the two daggers, creating a flurry of strikes.
The high attack speed synergizes well with the Plasma health system, as more hits mean faster health regeneration. The daggers are ideal for aggressive players who want to maximize their time on the offensive.
Blaststrike Maul
The Blaststrike Maul is a heavy hammer available from the start. It trades speed for raw power, dealing significant damage per hit. Hold attack to charge up. While charging, move to roll. The roll is invulnerable for a period. This makes the Maul a defensive tool as well as an offensive one.
Time your charges to tank through enemy attacks while delivering devastating blows. The invincibility frames on the charged attack and roll make this weapon invaluable for boss fights.
Hollower's Shield
The Hollower's Shield is an unlockable weapon that provides defensive capabilities alongside offensive options. Tap to bash, hold to block. Bash as you get hit to parry. Watch the cracks on your shield so it doesn't break. The parry mechanic rewards precise timing with a devastating riposte.
The Shield's upgrade, Shield Toss, adds a ranged attack option, transforming the defensive tool into a versatile offensive weapon as well.
Battery Buster
The Battery Buster is an unlockable blaster weapon that provides ranged combat capabilities. A dynamic blaster. Jump + Attack to switch modes. Strike foes to power up, then fire! Ricochet shots to stay safe. Unlike the other melee-focused weapons, the Battery Buster allows Mina to engage enemies from a distance, adding a new dimension to combat strategy.
The Charge Shot upgrade enables a powerful ranged attack that deals increased damage and may have special properties such as piercing or area-of-effect damage.

Sidearms
Sub-weapons that consume Joules and are lost on death

The Volt Hatchet releases a shock wave on impact, making it potent against groups of foes bunched together. Its thrown trajectory also lets you clear enemies from behind walls or exploit elevated positions for extra reach.
Iron Steed Confirmed

Healing Dash Confirmed
A Sidearm that provides a healing dash, allowing Mina to recover health while repositioning. This utility-focused Sidearm is useful for both combat survival and exploration.
Small Ghost Confirmed

Other Items
Consumables, currency, and key items
Keygears
Universal keys used to unlock doors and gates throughout Tenebrous Isle. Keygears open paths to new areas and secret rooms. Explore thoroughly and break objects to find them.
Joule Jars
Consumable items that replenish Joules, the resource consumed by Sidearms. Carry Joule Jars when you plan to use Sidearms frequently, especially during boss fights.
Bones
The primary currency and experience points of the game. Bones are earned by defeating enemies and are used to purchase items from shops and upgrade Mina's abilities at Underlabs. Bones are lost on death unless protected by a Spark.

ConfirmedHidden Shops
Secret Poppit shops near Ossex
Poppit Shop #1 — Eastern Wilds
From Ossex, head east into the Grassland area, then turn south (do NOT cross the bridge). Navigate past a spiked gear ring, take the first right, cross a moving platform room, then continue east. At the end you'll find an area with three spiked gears and a purple doorway in the bottom-right. Burrow through to find Poppit waiting on the right side of the cave.
Poppit Shop #2 — Molten Foundry
From Ossex, head west to the red-ground lava block area. Find the second north exit. If blocked by red boulders, stand on a tile adjacent to lava and burrow toward the boulder — the lava flow will destroy it. Head northeast into the Molten Foundry. Inside, find the gap in the northeast corner, burrow through, follow the metal grating, pass under the door, and take the left path at the fork.
Poppit Shop #3 — Cave Network
Reach through cave network to right-side stairs, head south, clear enemies. Find a jet plant near a house, burrow under it and launch west to reach a southern ledge. Meet Poppit, learn a dance (required for 100% completion), and unlock teleport blocks for fast travel. The third shop's exact location depends on the order you discover the first two shops.
